Bethany was the loving daughter of Kristi Blankenship and husband Dennis and Ty Lockwood and wife Christy all of Centralia; adoring mother to daughter Leighton; cherished sibling of TJ Lockwood, Braydon Lockwood, Lyndee Lockwood all of Centralia, and Kaylee Gordon and husband Johnmark of Sesser; devoted special friend, Eric See of Salem; beloved granddaughter of Robert and Carolyn Day, Richard and Billie Kerins, Bill and Linda Finley all of Centralia; a fond great-granddaughter to Rosie Timmons of Centralia; and further survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was the granddaughter to the late James R. Lockwood and the great-granddaughter to the late Teen and Katherine “Lois” Barrow.
Bethany was born the daughter of Ty Lockwood and Kristi (Day) Blankenship on June 11, 1985 in Centralia. She was a 2003 graduate of Centralia High School, going on to receive her CNA certificate after high school. She worked at Doctor’s Nursing Home and loved her time that she spent with the elderly. Bethany was a very intelligent young lady that loved to draw. She always loved makeup and getting her hair done. Her interests also included playing recreational softball, being an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and owls. Bethany enjoyed dancing and spending time with her daughter Leighton.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours for Bethany on Wednesday, March 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. Celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Petty officiating. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Thursday, March 23 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions in honor of Bethany may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
