Phillip B. Lusch, 53, of Salem, passed away October 7, 2017. He was born the son of Bernard “Beanie” and Betty (Rostance) Lusch on December 8, 1963 in Centralia, IL.

Survivors include his loving fiancée Leslie Ingram of Salem, IL; caring son, Caleb Lusch and Abbey Swartzlander in Odin, IL; devoted daughters Callie Lusch and Caleb Carter of Odin, IL, Kelsey Herrin and husband Mitch of Patoka, IL, Mara Ingram and Colton Wood of Odin; precious grandsons, Mason Allen Herrin; blessing of a grandchild-to-be in March; appreciated brothers Tom Lusch and wife Cindy, Chuck Lusch and wife Cindy, Larry Lusch and Gail, Mark Lusch and wife Lucy Bikules, Steve Lusch; fond sisters, Mary Ferrell, Ann Lusch; many nieces and nephews; best friends Ty Lockwood and Christy and their children Braydon and Lyndee, Brian Queen.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother Mike Lusch.

Phillip was a family man, and enjoyed every moment spent with his family. He was a faithful friend and appreciated making memories with them. He had a true passion for the outdoors. Phillip could be found hunting for arrow heads and mushrooms; as well as an avid turkey hunter. Phillip was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church where he dearly loved his church family. He was a hard worker. Employed as a truck driver for over twenty years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sandoval with Father Dale Maxfield officiating. Friends and relatives are invited for visiting hours from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval.
