Billie Jean Lusch, 87, of Centralia, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Odin Health Care in Odin. Billie was born April 10, 1930, the daughter of Willie and Pearl Juanita (Kidwell) Davis in Ranger, TX. She married her first and only love, Ronald E. Lusch on November 24, 1948 in Centralia.

Billie is survived by her loving children, Carolyn Diane Benjamin of Salem, Pam Gaston and husband Jerry of Salem, Pat Cichon and husband Richard of Centralia; 17 cherished grandchildren; 31 precious great-grandchildren; 4 prized great-great grandchildren; caring siblings, James Davis of Salem, and Brenda Snodgrass of Salem.

Mrs. Lusch was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Ronald E. Lusch; brother, Jerry Davis; daughters, Sharon Tate, and Karen Gensler.

Billie loved to share her faith as a member of Walnut Hill Missionary Baptist Church and then later attended Temple Baptist in Centralia. She was a hot air balloon enthusiast, and enjoyed crocheting. She will be remembered for hosting family gatherings, and turtle races for her grandbabies. Billie loved to spend time with family while camping and fishing. Her true passions were shopping and taking care of her dog, Rambo.

Celebration of life services for Billie will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery with Brother Paul Holsapple. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The family asks that you consider in Billie’s memory memorial contributions to the Centralia Humane Society.
