Darrell Eugene Lusch Jr., 59, of Centralia, IL passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his home. He was born October 10, 1958 the son of Darrell Sr. and Rita Ann (Thomas) Lusch in Centralia, IL. He married Terry Beth Tate and they were later divorced.

Survivors include his children Terah Lusch and Donnie Frazier of Port Arthur, TX, Will and Jolene Lusch of Rawlins, WY, Candace Lusch of Sandoval, Rita Lusch of Sandoval, Ambour McClelland of Junction City, Darryl Lusch of Centralia; grandchildren Francis Ray, Brianna Ray, Terrance Ray, Malliyah Lusch, Will Lusch, Echo and Cain Sanchez, Cole and Carter Williams, Christian Lusch, Cody Frazier, Mireya Rose, Macie Rose, Colton Jones, Meagan, Taylor, Braeden, Bradley and Blake McClelland; and great-grandchild Charles “Charlie” E. Ray; brother Charles Lusch, wife Cathy of Indianapolis, IN.; sisters Laura Paxton, husband Ray of Clinton, IL, Tamara Bolin, husband Tim of Patoka, IL, DeeDee Dunbar, husband Troy of Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends.


In addition to his ex-wife, Terry Beth Tate, Darrell was preceded in death by his mother Rita A. Lusch and father Darrell E. Lusch.


Darrell was a devoted family man who valued the opportunity memories could be made with his family. He loved to interact online with his family and friends to keep in touch. He also enjoyed playing computer games, especially Canasta. He received great enjoyment while fishing for the “big one” and loved to cook for family and friends. He was also an amazing pool player and played on multiple teams over the years. Darrell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval with Pastor Doug Meyer officiating. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval, IL. Private graveside services will be held. Memorials may be made in Darrell’s honor to the family’s wishes.
