Dorothy “Dot” Eleanor Taulbee, 66, of Centralia passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on January 16, 1952 the daughter of Leo “Bud” Sr. and Edith (Brown) Hood in Bridgewater, MA. She married Noah Taulbee in California and three children were born of this union.

Survivors include her loving sons, Christopher Taulbee of CA, Joseph Taulbee and wife Melissa of Centralia, Adam Hood of CA; her precious grandchildren, Kyle Taulbee, birthday twin, Shyanne Catron, Kaitlynn Taulbee, Tyler Taulbee, Joshua Hahn, Christopher Taulbee Jr., and Kayla Gable, Carleigh Taulbee, Chayse Taulbee; her cherished great-grandchild, Aiden Taulbee; her caring siblings, Johnny Timpe of CA, Jerry Hood of Oregon, Leo Hood of Oregon, Kelly Hood-Groliney of Colorado, Annette Timpe- Giehm Augenfeld of CA; a host of several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Noah Taulbee; her son, Gilbert Taulbee; her great-granddaughter, Makenna Charlton; her brother, Charles “Charlie” Hood; her sisters, Edith Margaret Hood-Weatherwalk, Faye Hood-Magville, and Barbara Hood.

Dorothy moved to the Centralia area from California in 2010. She was a free spirit and danced to the beat of her own drum. She truly loved her time with her family, her husband, sons, and grandchildren, especially all their family barbeques. As an outdoor lover Dot would go on walks for miles and miles. Dorothy was a strong fighter who gave encouragement to all she met. She was a social butterfly, enjoyed playing bingo, playing computer games, and watching television shows, especially Grey’s Anatomy. She lived a simple but happy life and had so much love to give. Dorothy was known as Grandma Dot to her loving grandchildren and will be missed by all she knew and loved.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
