Ronald H. Wilson, 71, of Centralia passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO. He was born on February 16, 1948 the son of Willis and Hazel (Collins) Wilson in St. Paul, MN. He married Barbara Wilson, 5 children were born of this union and she preceded him in death. He later married his best friend, Shirley Bjelland on June 11, 1997 in Louisiana and she survives in Centralia.

Along with his wife of 22 years, Shirley Wilson, survivors include, his children, Ronald Wilson and wife Jill of AL, Lisa Lamprecht and husband Brad of Morton, Donald Wilson and special friend Shelley of Centralia, Denise Ayers and husband Dan of NC, Lonnie Wilson of Collinsville, Amy Scott and husband John of Waltonville, Brandon Morlan and wife Tricia of Freeburg, and Joshua Morlan of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Ryan Wilson, Jessica Young and husband Jon, Jenna Wilson, Hannah Mooneyham and husband Kody, Joshua Lamprecht, Jacob Lamprecht, Austin Wilson, Luke Wilson, Ella Ayers, Jacob Ayers, Hillary Keip and husband Sean, Hallie Scott, and Noah Morlan; great-grandchildren, Adelynn Mooneyham, Emery Mooneyham, and Ford Keip; caring sister, Diane Hart and husband Al of KS.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by both his parents; and brother, Wilbur Wilson.
Mr. Wilson had a talent for working with his hands and could be found in his tool shed repairing and creating. He enjoyed travel and was happy to share his stories of traveling all over the country. Ronald loved westerns and enjoyed watching Gunsmoke in his spare time. His laughter and smile will be missed by all that loved him.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A visitation time will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home in Centralia. Memorials may be made in Ronald’s honor to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
