Donald D Barger, 66, of Hoffman passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Don was born March 5, 1954 to Wayne and Betty ( Kratzner) Barger in Centralia. On Dec 29, 1973 he married the love of his life Debbie Kachuba in Nashville, IL.

Don Is Survived by his loving wife Debbie of Hoffman, 3 cherished sons, Ronald Barger of Carlyle, Rodney & Krista Barger of Hoffman, & Brian & Cindy Barger of Centralia, He adored his grandchildren; Kodie & Bria Barger of Farragut TN, Kaitlyn Barger of Carlyle, Mason Barger, Brayden Barger of Hoffman, & Caleb Barger of Centralia. He is also survived by sisters Betty & Henry Setzekorn of Nashville, & Nancy Barger of Nashville, & sister-in-law Patty & Dean Boester of New Minden.

He was preceded in death by His parents Wayne and Betty Barger, Brother Troy Barger, nephew Scott Setzekorn, & great nephew Zack Setzkorn

Don’s passion in life was driving a semi-truck and being on the open road. He loved meeting new people everywhere he traveled. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing in his spare time. Most of all, Don enjoyed spending time with his family and friends making cherished memories.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Donald Barger with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private Family service will be held at a later date. Memorials in Don’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
