Annabelle Adeline "Ann" Heironimus, age 89, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, formerly of Litchfield, Illinois, Jacksonville, Illinois, Carlinville, Illinois and Midwest, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota surrounded by her loved ones. She was one of nine children, and she was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 18, 1926, the daughter of Boon and America (Rust) Zumwalt. She met Clyde H. Heironimus, Jr., in the summer of 1944 and he swept her off her feet and they married on October 1, 1944. They were married for 59 years until Clyde lost his battle with cancer in 2003.

Mrs. Heironimus is survived by her sons, Rick Heironimus and wife Carol of Springfield, Illinois, Mark Heironimus and wife Marsha of Angleton, Texas and David Heironimus and wife Christine of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter, Jill Conner and husband Dale of Gilby, North Dakota, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and sister, Oleta Brown of Midwest, Oklahoma.

In addition to her husband of 59 years, Mrs. Heironimus was preceded in death by her parents.

A Graveside Service will be observed at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Central City, Illinois with Dr. Rick E. Heironimus officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Thursday. There will be no public visitation. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
