Ardell Ricky Joe Perkins , 64, of Centralia passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Speciality Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on February 12, 1956 the son of Jonas Culvert and Inda Lucille (Killion) Perkins in Lawrence County, IL.

Mr. Perkins served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corp. Ricky loved sports and was the ultimate Centralia Orphan's enthusiast. He was proud of Centralia's team and enjoyed watching the players work together to bring home a victory. When he wasn't cheering on the Centralia Orphans, he followed his favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals, spending many summers watching the Cards play ball. Ricky was a friend to all and will be missed by many.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home is privileged to be assisting the family of Ardell Perkins with arrangements. A private celebration of life service will be held. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia. Memorials may be made in Ricky's honor to the Family's Wishes and will be accepted at the funeral home.
