Barbara Ann Stalls , 76, of Centralia passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 21, 1945, the daughter of James and Eleanor Wilson in Leesville, Louisiana. She married Geoffery Stalls on June 26, 2006, in Centralia and he survives her in Centralia.

Along with her beloved husband, survivors include her children Dietra Black of Centralia, Cynthia (Larry) Lissolo of Kansas City, Kansas; stepchildren Laura Russ of Evansville, Indiana, Keri Roy of Evansville, Indiana, and Skyy Carter of Missouri; grandchildren Jessica, Kyle, Kevin, Elisabeth, Damon, Danielle, Haley, Dakota, Madison, Felicia, Brett, Zachery, Ashley, Jamie, and Lesley; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister June (Danny) Culvey of Kentucky. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husband Gary Russ; and her sister Mary Kay Larrick.

Barbara was an amazing asset, using her incredible ability to type with accuracy and speed at the Community Resource Center in Centralia, for 40 years until her retirement. She was a member of Friedens Church in Irvington. Barbara was known to drop a line from the boat dock in hopes to catch a big fish. She liked to collect antiques and pass on jewelry that she loved, sharing her style with those she cared about. No one went hungry at Barbara's table as she was always cooking the best meals. Everyone loved her potato salad, bean salad, cornbread, chocolate cake, and cookies. Barbara looked forward to her snack times, enjoying ice cream sandwiches and snack cakes with her great-grandchildren. She displayed her compassion and generous spirit by being the caretaker for all her family and friends, making sure to be there for them in any way she could. She had an impressive creative gift of knitting and quilting, creating treasured quilts for her beloved grandkids. Barbara was a wonderful grandmother, loving nothing more than spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
