Carrell
Bundy
June 25, 1936 – July 10, 2020
Carrell Bundy of Centralia, passed away Friday morning July 10, 2020 at her home in the care of her loving family. She was born on June 25, 1936 the daughter of Russell and Alice (Ingraham) Childers in Oilton, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Charles Bundy on July 17, 1964 at the First Baptist Church in Centralia; where they raised their three children and enjoyed 53 years of blissful marriage. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2017.
Carrell is survived by her devoted children, Scott Bundy of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Allison Alli and husband, Jason, of Nashville, and Carey Bundy of St. Louis, Mo; precious grandchildren, Emma Alli, Blake, Kaia and Kali Bundy.
Mrs. Bundy is preceded in death by both her parents, Russell and Alice Childers; her husband, Charles Bundy, and son, Judd Gregory.
Mrs. Bundy started her working career at the Centralia Sentinel, then moved on to Murray Center, and lastly the most rewarding of all, a secretary for the First Baptist Church. She was also a long-time member of the Laureate Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Of all Carrell's titles, the one she treasured the most was "Gram!" And enjoyed every second she could spend making memories with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Bundy enjoyed working out and will be missed by her friends at the Centralia Rec. Center. One could also find her working outside, tending to her flowers and growing beautiful plants with her green thumb.
She was a devout Christian and a 50 plus year member of the First Baptist Church of Centralia. Her beautiful voice was heard from the church choir, singing God's praises on Sunday mornings. Carrell loved all of God's creations, but near and dear to her heart was her cat GrayC and her outside gang of cats that she called "The Girls."
A Private Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in rural Sandoval with Pastor Brian High officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Centralia, or Centralia's Humane Society. Condolences and memories of Carrell may be shared with the family at www.maczfuneralhomes.com or on the Macz Funeral Homes Facebook page.
