Charlene Nix, 78, of Odin passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Odin Healthcare Center. She was born on July 2, 1941 the daughter of Bernard and Mildred Lepek in Chicago, IL. She married Robert McCown and two children were born of this union. She later married Steve Nix and he precedes her in death.

Survivors include her devoted children, Kathy McCown, of Centralia, Bob McCown and wife Amy of Salem; treasured grandchildren, Kittanah Hill, Ryan McCown, Allyson McCown, and precious great-granddaughter McKenna Shae Wathan.

Ms. Nix was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert McCown; second husband, Steve Nix; and grandson Mason Wathan.

Charlene was a housewife and raised her family in Elk Grove Village. She had a gracious heart and was always caring for others. Charlene's memory will be treasured and shared with her family and friends.
