Clay Marvin Pruett , 56, of Centralia, passed away April 15, 2020, at home. He was born the son of T.M. and Marlene (Turner) Pruett on May 8, 1963 in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Clay's life is left to be cherished by his parents Marlene Hixenbaugh, and husband Ron of Centralia; devoted sons, Clayton Pruett and wife Tiffany of Centralia, Austin Pruett of Centralia; daughter, Amanda Taylor of Centralia; precious grandchildren, Chloe, Vance, Ellie, Haley; dear brother, Tom Pruett and wife Kim of Centralia; host of many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family. Clay was preceded in death by his father, T.M. Pruett.
Mr. Pruett graduated from Centralia High School in 1981. He was a natural born athlete, playing baseball, basketball, and football. He traveled all over the country being a Professional Wrestler, Arm Wrestler, Body Builder and Boxer. Clay owned his own construction business and was a part of several businesses with his family. Clay was bigger than life and could take over a room with his humor and storytelling. He stood up for what he believed in and defended those he loved. He was a devoted son, supportive father and loving "Big Grandpa" to his grandchildren.
