Curtis Wade "Curt" Shaw, age 52, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born in Centralia, Illinois on October 20, 1962, the son of Ronald D. and Betty I. (Dodson) Shaw. He married Kathy Lynn McCormick in May of 1991 in San Antonio, Texas and they later divorced.

Curt is survived by his sons, Specialist Robby Shaw and wife Felicia of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Ryan Shaw of Centralia, Illinois, grandson Owen Shaw of Colorado Springs, Colorado, parents, Ronald Shaw and Betty Shaw of Centralia, Illinois, brother, Roger Shaw and wife Gaye of Centralia, Illinois, sister, Linda Paschal of Centralia, Illinois, nephews, Nate Paschal of Centralia, Illinois, Matt Shaw of Houston Texas, Josh Shaw of Houston, Texas, Mark Newcomb and wife Jessica of Centralia, Illinois, nieces, Stacey Paschal of Centralia, Illinois and Amber Smith and husband Dathan of Ashley, Illinois, great nephews, Gavin Paschal, Amarion Newcomb, Brylan Guthrie, Ayden Fox and Alton Fox, great nieces, Kyndal Paschal, Hailey Newcomb, Ciara Newcomb, Alexis Newcomb, Kailee Smith and Kensie Smith, former mother-in-law Mary McCormick of Centralia, Illinois and special friend Melissa Morgan of Centralia, Illinois,

Curt was preceded in death by his nephew, Kalib Donald Paschal.

Curt believed in living life to its fullest and lived his life the way he wanted. He enjoyed being on the road on his motorcycle. He was one to be in the outdoors and liked to camp and fish. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. Curt was a production worker in the finishing department at Radiac Abrasives in Salem, Illinois since August 19, 1984. He has lived all of his life in Centralia, Illinois.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the JC Foundation/Sprehe Field Shelter on 300 Country Club Road in Centralia, Illinois.
