Cynthia Ann Brammeier, 70, of Hoffman passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 15, 1955, the daughter of Paul and Catherine (Wiedle) Ballah. She married Larry Brammeier on October 25, 1975, at Hoffman Trinity Lutheran Church and he survives her in Hoffman.

Along with her husband of fifty years, survivors include her sister, Kim Diekemper and husband Leon of Shattuc; brothers, Tony Ballah and wife Kay of Shattuc, and Scott Ballah and wife Angie of Carlyle; brother-in-law, John Brammeier and wife Jeannie of IN; sister-in-law, Carol Edler and husband Dale of Ferrin; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; extended family members, and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Catherine Ballah.

Cindy worked as a pharmacy tech for Byrd Watson Pharmacy, where her kindness and attention to detail made each day run smoothly. She had the uncanny ability to know when someone was in need and would instinctively reach out to share a listening ear and be there to help in any way. One way Cindy would bless others with her servant’s heart was by cooking magnificent meals for family and friends. Many wonderful memories were made around her kitchen table. She was a social butterfly who could talk easily with anyone, carrying on conversations with old friends, family and even those she had just met. Elly, Cindy’s dog and constant companion held her heart and she enjoyed spoiling her with treats and ear rubs. Cindy’s sweet spot was spending time with her family, and she looked forward to getting together with them most of all. Cindy will be deeply missed by every life she touched with her positive attitude and her unconditional love.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with Pastor Bumper Quick officiating.
