Obituary

Dustin James Rhynes, age 24, of Irvington, Illinois, passed away at 9:17 A.M. on Monday, August 24, 2015 in Centralia, Illinois.  He was born on November 20, 1990 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of Kevin E. and Lucy H. (Cannady) Rhynes, who survive in Irvington, Illinois.

In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by his son, Kayne James Rhynes of Salem, Illinois, grandfather, Richard Cannady of Wyoming, stepbrother, Joshua Rhynes of Florida, stepsister, Erin Revira and husband Anthony of Florida, uncles, Gary Rhynes of Missouri, James Ocampo and wife Patty of Tennessee and Thomas Drybread of Colorado, aunts, Lisa Morgan of Centralia, Illinois, Toni Norris and husband Mitchell of Vernon, Illinois and Mary Mauch of Wyoming, special friend, Shannon Reed of Salem, Illinois, numerous cousins and many friends.

Dustin was preceded in death by his sister, Bridget Lynn Cannady, maternal grandmother, Marilyn Williams, paternal grandmother, Betty Schulte and aunt, Cathy Rhynes.

Dustin loved his friends.  He enjoyed music and weightlifting.  He was a young man full of life, who was trying to turn his life around and do the right thing.  He cherished the time he spent with his family and was very much involved with his son.  Dustin's family was very important to him and he was devoted to his loving mother.

Dustin was a carpenter apprentice and worked construction alongside his father.  He has lived most of his life in Irvington, Illinois.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Gary Rhynes officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to his son Kayne James Rhynes and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  Please view the online obituary, send condolences or share memories with Mr. Rhynes' family at www.moranfuneralhome.net or on Facebook.
