Everett Burlison, age 91, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 4:41 P.M. on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Fireside House in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on September 5, 1928 in Cutler, Illinois, the son of Sherman and Lillie (Rude) Burlison. He married Edith Mae Garrison and they later divorced.
Mr. Burlison is survived by his niece, nephew, three great nieces, 2 great nephews and his family at Fireside House in Centralia, Illinois.
Mr. Burlison was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Archie Burlison and sisters, Nellie Green, Ruby Freeman and Wanda Furguson.
Mr. Burlison was of the Protestant Faith. He genuinely enjoyed socializing with his friends. In knowing Everett, people knew where they stood with him.
Mr. Burlison retired as a laborer from Valley Steel in 1986. He graduated with Centralia Township High School's Class of 1946. He lived most of life in Centralia, Illinois.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois with Mimi Hawkins officiating. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois. Family and Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. It is asked those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
