Gerold "Jerry" Wolff, 82, of Patoka passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home in the care of his family. He was born on April 4, 1938 the son of Earl and Ethel (Barnes) Wolff in Collinsville, IL.

Survivors include the love of his life for 37 years, Alice Tate of Patoka; stepchildren, Donna Eck, Paula Gamber, Kim Skaer, Alfred Tate; special nephew, Eddie and Dena Boss of St. Jacob; dearest nieces, Debbie Pagan, of Marine, IL, and Donna Price and husband Carl of Marine, IL. Jerry was preceded in death by both his parents, Earl and Ethel Wolff; sister, Helen Dyer; brother, Earl Wolff.

Jerry worked construction under the Local 100 and Local 50 in the Belleville and East St. Louis area before moving to Patoka in "retirement". Before proudly opening up Wollf's Antique Shop in 1988, Jerry could be found on Carlyle lake fishing all day long. For over 32 years Jerry greeted everyone with a story when they entered the shop; it was the joy of his life.
