Grandville Wayne "Bo" Johnson., age 58, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 5:09 P.M. on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.  He was born on April 15, 1962, in Hamilton, Mississippi, the son of Ellis Wayne and Edna Lois (Garrett) Johnson.  He married Linda F. Walker on June 18, 2016, in Foundation Park in Centralia, Illinois and she survives him in Centralia, Illinois.

In addition to his loving wife of four years, Bo is survived by his son, Daniel Johnson and wife Jennie of Columbus, Mississippi; stepsons, Timothy Buretta of Centralia, Illinois and Josh Foster of Columbus, Mississippi; stepdaughter, Tammy Ebert and husband Travis of Ashley, Illinois; granddaughters, MacKenzie Johnson and Emberly Johnson; step-grandchildren, Mark Ebert, Xander Ebert, Raith Buretta and Christine Foster; mother, Edna Lois Johnson of Hamilton, Mississippi; brothers, David Johnson of Hamilton, Mississippi, John Johnson and wife Stephanie of Hamilton, Mississippi and Bobby Dale Johnson and girlfriend Vicki of Hamilton, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews; paternal aunt; maternal aunt and his great-aunts.

Bo was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Wayne Johnson; infant sister; fraternal grandparents; maternal grandparents and his furry friend and companion, Wilson aka "Pig."

Bo was of the Christian Faith.  Earlier in life, he sang in a Gospel Group.  He was a Private Second Class in the United States Army proudly serving his country from December 5 ^th , 1983 until March 4 ^th , 1987. Bo was a fan of college football, following Alabama University and was an avid fan of Saint Louis Cardinals.  He liked watching NASCAR Racing and was a big fan of Kevin Harvick and the late Dale Earnhardt.  He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He loved to eat and cook good home-down Southern Food, even cooked for his family after being diagnosed with cancer five years ago.  He kept a very well-groomed garden of cayenne peppers and tomatoes.  He could be eating his favorite candy of chocolate and peanut butter, Reese's Pieces.  He cherished the time he spent with his family and his beloved pug, Wilson, of 21 years.

Bo was a foreman with a construction company that built hotels, motels and nursing homes.  He lived in Centralia, Illinois, for nine years and formerly lived in Columbus, Mississippi and Hamilton, Mississippi.
