Obituary

Janice Ann Warden , 83, was called home peacefully to the Lord on December 31, 2020, at the Lexington Health Care Center in Lombard, IL. She was born on October 13, 1937 to Hazel and Cecil Amason. She was the loving wife to Ronald K. Warden of 56 years; devoted mother to Jeffrey Z. Warden (wife Shelley) of Interlachen, FL, and daughter Stacie J. Zapfel (husband Ron) of Naperville, IL; cherished grandmother to Lindsay Berry (husband Mike), Adam Zapfel (wife Danielle), Rachael Marquez (husband Adam), and Keith Warden (fiancé Cara); fond great-grandmother of nine; dear sister-in-law to Marlene Davis (James deceased), Lois and Charlie Albert, Brenda Wutzler (Bill deceased), Janice Irvin (Raymond Swartzlander deceased), Gary Warden (deceased), and Mike Warden; sister-in-law, Patricia Warden (Rex Warden deceased); affectionate aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She had a deep love and respect for all of the wonderful friends that she and Ron had over the many years. Please know you all held a special place in their hearts.

Jan was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and a devoted Christian. She spent her life being a positive influence for everyone. She had a glow and a light that never ceased to shine and an infectious presence that warmed your heart. She made this world a better place, and we will never be the same without her. We will always remember her sense of humor and her loving ways. Her spirit will live inside us forever.

Services are pending for a future date at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
