Jesse Wayne Goff Sr., 68, of Iuka passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at his son’s home. He was born on November 30, 1957, the son of Roy and Edna (Misslebrook) Goff.

Survivors that have dear memories of Jesse include his sons, Adam Goff and wife Ashley of Iuka, and Jesse W. Goff Jr. of Xenia; six precious grandchildren; four cherished great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve Goff and wife Sussan of Flora, and Timothy Goff and wife Emily of Salem; sisters, Marilyn Bunton of Centralia, and Sheila Martinez and husband Danny of Hillsboro, MO; and nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Gary Goff, Frank Goff, and Leonard Goff.

Jesse was a hard-working laborer who valued doing his job well. He truly loved time outdoors, enjoying nature. Jesse could guarantee catching a big mess of fish while fishing. He looked forward to hunting season and a chance to spend time in the woods. Jesse had a real knack with mechanical things, which found him repairing and tinkering with various types of machines. He loved his family most of all and was so excited to be a Grandpa to his grandkids and great-grandkids. Jesse will be remembered for his loyal work ethic, his ability to catch fish, the way he never come back empty-handed from a hunt, and especially for his deep love for his family.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date by his family. Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Jesse Goff Sr. with arrangements.
