Jo Ann Copple , 87, of Centralia passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was born on November 28, 1932 the daughter of John and Florence (Mills) Brown in Chetopa, KS. She married David Copple on October 14, 1964 in Miami, OK and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Pindy Nollman and husband Alan of Centralia, Tim Copple and wife Kim of Centralia, Tony Copple and wife Jan of Turlock, CA, and Tom Copple and wife Sara of Orange, CA;grandchildren, Sara Nollman-Hodge and husband J.D. of Centralia, Matthew Copple and wife Amanda of Centralia, Kacie McIntosh and husband Ryan of Carlyle, Dinah Copple, Benjamin Copple, Joel Copple and Jacob Copple all of Turlock, CA, Sharayah Brown and husband Bryan of Orange, CA, Joshua Copple and wife Cynthia of Orange, CA, Jeriah Copple of Orange, CA; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way; sister, Betty Withrow of Chetopa, KS; nieces, and nephews, Terry Brown, Tonya Schwartz, Robert Withrow Jr., Jon Withrow, James Brown Jr., and Jason Brown.

Along with her husband, David Copple, Mrs. Copple was preceded in death by both her parents; brothers, Robert Brown, and James Brown; and grandson, Nathan Copple.

Mrs. Copple was a faithful member of the First Apostolic Church in Centralia where she shared her love of Jesus as a Sunday School teacher. She served as secretary for a natural gas company, and worked at Chaney's, and Woolworth's all in Centralia. Jo Ann had a generous heart and was a 15 gallon blood donor. Jo Ann was an avid reader, an amazing cook, skilled at sewing, needlework, and crochet, and grew beautiful flowers. Her family was always her top priority and she was always available to offer good advice, and support.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Jo Ann Copple with arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the First Apostolic Church in Centralia with Pastor Jonathan Urshan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in rural Sandoval. A visitation time will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church on Thursday, where those in attendance will be asked to wear a mask. Memorials may be made in Jo Ann's honor to the First Apostolic Church.
