Josie Ray Albert infant daughter of Tony Albert and Erin Earle went to Heaven as an angel August 16, 2019. She was welcomed into her family's arms on April 17, 2019 in St. Louis, MO.

Survivors that will carry on precious memories of Josie include her devoted parents, Tony Albert and Erin Earle of Patoka; loving sister, Ryleigh Albert of Patoka; caring grandparents, Laura and Don Finley of Centralia, Sean and Ashley Earle of Centralia, Marilyn and Jerry Albert of Iuka; kind great-grandparents, Amy and Steve Sparks of Vandalia, Sherman and Margaret Wolff of Midway, Paulette and Don Finley of Central City, Debra and Harley Nichols of Centralia, and Opal Hawkins of Kell; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Josie brought so much joy to her family with her beautiful, contagious smile. Her parents felt so blessed that God had called them to be her Mom and Dad. Josie loved the soothing sound of music. She was so intent on the world around her and loved to look around, and especially into the eyes of her family that loved her dearly. The family sends a sincere appreciation to the nurses of the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital in St. Louis for the loving care that they gave to Josie and her parents.

Friends are welcome to a visitation time from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka. A celebration of life service will be held privately by the family at a later date. Memorials may be made in Josie's honor to Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
