Lee Roy Woods, age 65, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 8:13 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2022, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.  He was born on October 27, 1956, in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Steve "Junior" and Janice Aileen (Wickland) Woods.

Mr. Woods was affectionately known as Petey.  He lived a life filled with many ups and downs, but the two constants in his life were his love of Jesus Christ and his desire to help others.  If you were lucky enough to have crossed his path, you would have known this.  His goal was even if he could change one person's life than he would have accomplished his life mission.  I pray that those who met him have been changed in a positive way.

It was the wishes of Mr. Lee Roy "Petey" Woods to leave this world quietly with no public visitation or service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Petey's honor to a local church of your choice and may be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois 62801.
