Linda Faye Glenn , 66, of Centralia passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was born on July 19, 1954 the daughter of Dewey and Mollie (Corless) Townsend in Detroit, Michigan. She married Jimmy Glenn in 1991 at their home and he survives in Centralia.

Along with her husband, Jimmy, survivors that will never forget Linda's gracious heart include her beloved daughters, Jennifer Yates and fiancé, Matt Brumfield of Centralia, Mollie Glenn of Centralia and boyfriend Devin Belcher of Carlyle; cherished grandchildren, Matthew Brumfield, and Norah Brumfield; caring siblings, brother, Dewey Townsend Jr. of Centralia, and sister, Debbie Tucker and husband John of Fargo, North Dakota; many loved, special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by both her parents; brother, Hank Corless; and sister-in-law, Mary Townsend.

Linda was a loyal employee of Rockwell in Centralia for 11 years. She loved spending time in the outdoors fishing and enjoying the glow of a campfire while camping. Linda appreciated the beauty of nature, glad for time spent traveling across the country. She especially found peace while visiting impressive mountain views in Idado. Linda had a love for all types of music and shared this love with her family. She liked the excitement of watching a Nascar race, cheering on Jimmie Johnson, and was a collector of Native American artwork. Linda had a compassionate heart and loved animals. Linda's proudest moment was when she became a grandma. She treasured her time spent with her amazing grandchildren that brought her so much joy. Linda's memory will live on with the ultimate honor that was given through organ donation.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Linda Glenn with arrangements. A celebration of a wonderful life service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 24, 2020 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. A visitation time will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Linda's honor to Centralia Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
