Linda Mae Roeckeman, age 75, of Centralia, Illinois passed away at 5:10 P.M. on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.  She was born on June 9, 1942, in Vandalia, Illinois, the daughter of the late Lila Lee Johnson.

Linda is survived by her children; Renee Huge and husband Douglas of Richview, Illinois, Jeff Ireland and wife Stephanie of Shobonier, Illinois, and Lisa McDonald of Centralia, Illinois.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Amanda Huge of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Christopher Huge and friend Deb of St. Louis, Missouri, Ian Huge and wife Brittany of Richview, Illinois, Jessica Whitehead and husband Chris of Shobonier, Illinois, Curtis Ireland and fiancee Katie Oak of Shobonier, Illinois, and David Frailey of Marion, Illinois as well as 8 great-grandchildren, her sister, Nancy; cousin, Dava Fisher of Michigan and her many friends from St. Mary's Hospital.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother.

Linda was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois.  She enjoyed visiting with her former co-workers and friends.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was looking forward to the birth of her great-grandson.  Her family will cherish memories of Linda as a wonderful mother and nurse.

Linda obtained her Registered Nursing certification in 1988 from Rend Lake College and spent more than 30 years working in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital.  She retired from St. Mary's Hospital in 2011.  She lived in Centralia, Illinois since 1972 and was formerly a resident of Brownstown, Illinois.

A Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Linda Roeckeman will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Perry Schefelker officiating.  Family and friends may visit with Linda's family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home.
