Along with her husband of fifty years, Charlie Nattier, Marie was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Richard Williams, and Franklin Williams.
Marie was quite possibly one of the sweetest ladies on Earth. She was dedicated to her family, working hard to be a great support and backbone to her family’s farming operation. Marie was a wonderful cook who would deliver hot meals to all the guys working out in the fields. She was kind, friendly, a great conversationalist, and always gave the biggest waves to everyone she passed on the road. Marie was a loyal friend who had the uncanny ability to show up for friends and family just when they needed her. She loved her family more than words could express and valued being a part of their lives. Known as Grandma Ree or Mama by her grandchildren, she liked to look for treasures to gift her grandkids with, and was a constant source of light, love and grace in each of their lives. Marie’s was a life lived for others, to bring a laugh or a smile, to offer a helping hand, and to make each moment count. She will be dearly remembered, and her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Private family burial will be at Cruse Cemetery in rural Patoka at a later date. Online condolences and memories of Marie may be shared with her family by visiting maczfuneralhomes.com and/or on the funeral home’s Facebook page. Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka is privileged to be assisting the family of Marie Nattier with arrangements.
