Obituary

Marsha Kay Miller, age 48, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 5:50 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at her sister's home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  She was born on August 5, 1964 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Herbert James and Dorothy Helen (Addison) Baker.  She was married to James Miller on November 6, 1999 in Salem, Illinois and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2009.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her two sons Kenneth Kliewer and fiancee Mallory Simons of Wichita, Kansas and James Scott Miller of Mount Vernon, Illinois, mother Dorothy H. Fowler and stepfather Norman Fowler of Mount Vernon, Illinois, stepdaughter Jamie Marie Miller of Centralia, Illinois, granddaughter Kassidy Kliewer of Wichita, Kansas, two brothers Larry Michael Baker and wife Barbara of Decatur, Illinois, Steven Ray Baker and wife Catherine Ann of Saint Louis, Missouri, two sisters Barbara Ann Hardy and husband Charles of Decatur, Illinois and Deborah Lynn Nardone and husband Derek of Mount Vernon, Illinois, nephew Dustin William Baker of Saint Louis, Missouri, best friend Julie Shookman of Centralia, Illinois and numerous aunts and uncles.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her father Herbert James Baker and brother Donald William Baker.

Mrs. Miller was of the Christian Faith who walked with God and attended the Victory Christian Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  According to her family, she was a great mother, daughter, sister and aunt who enjoyed life to its fullest and was the character and jokester of her family.  She was a collector of pictures, unicorns and most recently ceramic bears.  Mrs. Miller enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles and playing rummy with her family and friends.

Mrs. Miller was a housewife and homemaker.  She has lived her whole life in Centralia, Illinois.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois.  Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested.  Cremation rites accorded by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  Online condolences of sympathy may be sent to Mrs. Miller's family at moranfuneralhome@att.net.
