Martin George McIntire , 72, of Salem passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on August 9, 1948 the son of Willard and Adeline (Pydo) McIntire in Chicago.

Martin graduated from Eastern Illinois University. While attending, he was inducted into the Eastern Illinois Athletic Hall of Fame for Cross Country.
