Mary Louise Lammers, age 78, of Central City, Illinois, passed away at 12:25 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the White Oak Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.  She was born on December 26, 1937 in Iuka, Illinois, the daughter of James and Pansy (Linder) Bartley.  She married LeRoy H. Lammers in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1966.

Mrs. Lammers is survived by her four daughters, Victoria Barnhart and husband Rodney Reynolds of Central City, Illinois, Tina Kassel and husband Rick of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Linda Evans and husband Tom of Carlyle, Illinois and Tara Snodsmith and husband Ray of Dyersburg, Tennessee, fifteen grandchildren, Shannon Hoard and wife Sara, Tina Marie McLean and husband Sherrill, Gerald Barnhart, Jr. and friend Shana Barr, Wyatt Barnhart and wife Bonnie, Andrea Hall and husband Buddy, Scott Reynolds, Courtney Smith and husband Brad, Christopher Kassel, Trey Snodsmith, Tommy Hagen and husband Allen, Jody Smith and husband Robbie, Jessica Davis and husband Anthony, Gregory Evans, Riki Danielle Evans and Kathryn Evans, fourteen great-grandchildren, Samantha Hoard, Cameron Hoard, Gillian McLean, Eli McLean, Isaac Patton, Felicity Barnhart, Peyton Barnhart, Madilyn Hall, Emma Lee Hall, Austin Hagen, Camryn Hagen, Levi Smith, Angela Smith and Michael Davis and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lammers was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Clarence Bartley, Marvin Bartley, Carl Bartley, Max Bartley and Paul Bartley and one sister, Viona Galbreath.

Mrs. Lammers was of the Apostolic Faith.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  She enjoyed watching NASCAR races.  She cherished the time she spent with her family and loved sitting down at the table with them to have a great meal.

Mrs. Lammers was formerly a certified nursing assistant at Bryan Manor in Salem, Illinois.  Earlier in life, she was employed at the Brown Shoe Company in Salem, Illinois.  She lived most of her life in Central City, Illinois and she previously lived in New Brockton, Alabama and Salem, Illinois.

A Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Mary Lammers will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Mark Doane officiating.  A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  Please view the online obituary, send condolences or share memories with Mrs. Lammers' family at www.moranfuneralhome.net or on the funeral home's Facebook page.
