Mary Ann Crayne , age 74, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Mary was born on July 26, 1946 in Chester, IL, a daughter of the late Thomas Lee Skaggs and Mary Ellen (Worley) Skaggs.

Mary was a loving, mother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She worked for Illinois Central School Bus Company as a bus monitor for many years. Mary enjoyed sewing, shopping and listening to country music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Mary loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Grant W. Crayne and Larry Kinnard; and by a daughter, Dana Crayne.

She is survived by her loving children, Stacy (Zac) York of High Ridge, MO and Aaron (Sarah Kreider) Kinnard of Granite City, IL; dear stepchildren, Grant A. Crayne of Springfield, IL and Lesa (Win) Mahnee of Springfield, IL; siblings, Thomas Skaggs of Oak Grove, MO, Andrew (Sherry) Skaggs of Alton, IL, Betty (Robin) Williams of Sandoval, IL, Timothy Skaggs of Sandoval, IL and Wayne (Diane) Skaggs of Mt. Vernon, IL; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Private visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, IL, with a second visitation being held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Day Macz Funeral Home, 311 N. Pine, Sandoval, IL, where those in attendance are asked to wear a mask.

In celebration of her life, a funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at Day Macz Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sandoval Cemetery in Sandoval, IL.
