Obituary

Merle Arthur Breiter, Jr., age 62, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 8:08 P.M. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born on October 18, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Merle, Sr. and Bertie (King) Breiter.

Mr. Breiter is survived by his two sons, Scott Breiter and wife Beth of Centralia, Illinois and Christopher Breiter and partner Daniel Wathen of Las Vegas, Nevada, 3 grandchildren Cooper Breiter, Reagan Castleman and Charlie Castleman and 3 brothers Mike Breither and wife Mary of Belleville, Illinois, Dave Breiter and wife Barbara of Fountain Valley, California and Terry Hoyland and wife Donna of Florida.

Mr. B reiter was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Kyle Breiter.

Mr. Breiter was one who would help others and do anything for others. He never met a stranger throughout his life. He enjoyed life to his fullest. He loved wrenching on cars. He cherished the time he spent with his family especially his children and grandchil dren.

Mr. Breiter was a mechanic who owned and operated Merle's Auto Repair in Centralia, Illinois from 1994 to 2005. He has lived in Centralia, Illinois for most of his life.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Seth Baltzell. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park near Centralia, Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
