Michael Bradley Walker, 54, of Vernon passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at Deaconess Hospital in Indianna. He was born on November 13, 1971, in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of Ray Leon and Wanda (Hendrix) Walker.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Walker of Vernon; children, Tadd Riley Walker of Jeffersonville, IN, and Tora Ryn Walker of Jeffersonville, IN; brothers, Christopher (Brandy) Walker of Vernon, and Ronnie Walker of Winter Park, FL; sister, Debbie Barnes of Patoka, IL.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ray Leon Walker; and sister, Karen Winnie.

Mike was proud to serve during Desert Storm in the United States Navy. He enjoyed going fishing and was skilled at bringing in the biggest catch. Mike appreciated listening to good music, known to sing along with all his favorite songs. Everyone looked forward to sharing meals that he prepared, as he was an amazing cook. Mike loved spending time with his family, making memories that brought him joy all of his life.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date by the family.
