Paul Jett , 77, of Sandoval passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 18, 1942 the son of Alva and Alice (Simpson) Jett in Salem. He married Beverly Bryan on March 23, 1963 at the Christian Church in Sandoval.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Becky Jett of Sandoval; daughter, Lisa Hood and husband Tony of Sandoval; and granddaughter, Kaitlin Young of Wickliffe, KY. Paul was preceded in death by both his parents; and son, Robbie Jett.

Paul was a graduate of Sandoval High School Class of 1962. He knew the benefit of a hard day's work being a dedicated employee of Jim's Basements of Sandoval for 28 years, retiring in 2003. Paul valued his community and was a longtime volunteer fireman for Sandoval's Fire Department. He enjoyed a good game of golf and played on golf league at the Colonial Golf Course in Sandoval. Paul admired vintage cars and was the proud owner of a 1968 Pontiac GTO. He watched old westerns on television from the comfort of his favorite recliner, from where he was also known to catch a nap. Paul was a humble, quiet man that loved his family and took pride in providing for them. He will be deeply missed by those he knew and loved.

Private family service will be held at Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval. Memorials may be made in Paul's honor to Sandoval Fire Department and/or Bethel Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
