Obituary

Reverend Loyce Edward Howle, age 82, of Centralia, Illinois went to be with his Lord at 12:56 P.M.on Saturday, December 21, 20132 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He born on April 11, 1931 in Poplarville, Mississippi, the son of Loyce E. and Mary Caroline (Fly) Howle. He married Elsie Marie Russell on September 4, 1954 in Hernando, Mississippi and she survives in Centralia, Illinois. In addition to his wife of 59 years, Reverend Howle is survived by his 3 sons Jerry A Howle and wife Kathy of Casper, Wyoming, Mark R. Howle and wife Lisa of Indianapolis, Indiana and Paul E. Howle of Indianapolis, Indiana, 1 daughter Carolyn Frey and husband Dennis of Montevallo, Alabama,9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 brother Jesse Howle and wife Pansy of Jonesboro, Arkansas and 1 sister Mary LeHew of Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Richard Howle. Reverend Howle was a member of the Baker Street Baptist Church. He loved tending to his farm and tinkering with his farm equipment. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished the time he spent with his family. Reverend Howle graduated in 1961 from the Clear Creek Bible Baptist College in Pineville, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. As part of his ministry, he pastored churches in Northern Illinois and Iowa. He retired in 1993 as a maintenance supervisor with Graphics Packaging in Centralia, Illinois after 25 years of service. He has lived in Centralia, Illinois since 1978. A Going Home Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 27, 2013, at the Baker Street Baptist in Walnut Hill, Illinois with Reverend Donald R. Bingham officiating. Friends are asked to go to the directly to the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Reverend Howle's honor to the Baker Street Baptist Church in Walnut Hill, Illinois and will be received at the Moran Queen~Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
