Sandra Sue Rylander, age 76, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 4:51 P.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born June 4, 1938 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Berthol Gilbert and Dorothy Bernice (McKinney) Harvey. She married Merle Wayne Rylander on June 21, 1962 in Carlyle, Illinois and they later divorced.

Mrs. Rylander is survived by her 2 daughters, Cheryl Rylander of Centralia, Illinois and Cristi Nemec and husband Peter of Lakeside, Oregon, 1 granddaughter, Kaitlin Chloe Jackson, 1 sister-in-law, Jean Harvey of Marion, Illinois and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Rylander was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Billy Ray Harvey, Robert Harvey, Gilbert "Henry" Harvey, Jr. and Kenneth Harvey and 4 sisters, Mary Ferguson, Betty Harvey and infants Barbara Harvey and Caroline Harvey.

Mrs. Rylander was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Centralia, Illinois. She enjoyed going clothes shopping and out to eat with her daughter Cheryl. She cherished the time she spent with her family.

Mrs. Rylander was a packer for the Hollywood Brands Candy Company in Centralia, Illinois and she retired in March 2000 after 43 years of service. She has lived all of her life in Centralia, Illinois.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park near Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Pamela Gale Smith officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Saturday. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois where friends may call 532-7321 for further information.
