Obituary

Sean Michael Kniser, age 30, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 4:18 P.M. on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at his aunt's home in Radom, Illinois.  He was born on June 27, 1990 in Belleville, Illinois, the son of Kenneth Julius Powell and Stacy Michelle (Schniers) Kniser.

Sean is survived by his parents, Stacy Michelle Kniser and Kenneth Julius Powell of Centralia, Illinois; sisters, Sarah Kniser and significant other Jon Williams of Nashville, Illinois and Meagan Kniser of Carlyle, Illinois; nephews, Amias Cooper and Landon Williams; aunts, Tanna Hart and significant other, Joe Pranga of Radom, Illinois, Robin Bryran and husband David of Breese, Illinois, Stephanie Buck of Carlyle, Illinois and Linda York and husband David of Dell, Illinois; uncle, Tommy Powell and wife Sherry of Nashville, Illinois; cousins, Charity York and her two daughters, Hope and Faith and Robby Taylor and wife Crystal of Sandoval, Illinois and many friends.

Sean was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernell Schniers and Mary Gail Schniers; uncle, Brian Buck and best friend, Zack Setzekorn.

Sean was of the Christian Faith. He loved listening to music.  In his earlier years, he liked playing baseball, football and basketball.  He was very friendly and enjoyed hanging out with his many friends.  He was known to have a great personality and he got along with everyone.  Sean was seen as being very funny and had a comical side to him, and he was well respected.  He would help out everyone and he never met a stranger.  He loved his sisters and nephews and he cherished the time he spent with his family.  Sean was the world to his mother.

Sean was recently employed as a laborer with GDB International in Nashville, Illinois.  He lived most of his life in Centralia, Illinois.

Cremation Rites accorded by Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
