Shawn Dean Groff, 45, of Sandoval passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 17, 1974 the son of Larry and Nancy (Gallatin) Groff in Centralia.

Survivors include his devoted parents, Larry and Nancy Groff of Sandoval; cherished children, Adam Groff of Sandoval, and Cheynne Owens and husband Jordan of Alma; precious granddaughter, Alice Owens of Alma; loving maternal grandmother, Eva Gallatin of Shattuc.

Shawn was a 1994 graduate of Sandoval High School. He was devoted to his family and made many great memories with each one of them. Shawn held awesome video game skills and loved sharing this hobby with his son, Adam. He was an animal lover and worked at the Humane Society in Centralia with his daughter to care for neglected animals. Shawn was a true movie buff and enjoyed watching all types of movies. He always had a positive attitude and would encourage others to look on the bright side of any situation. Shawn's dedication to his family, and his upbeat attitude will be carried on in those he knew and loved.
