Theodore A. "Ted" Gebczyk, Jr., age 70, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 9:24 A.M. on Friday, January 29, 2021, at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri.  He was born on February 3, 1950 in Tomah, Wisconsin, the son of Theodore A., Sr. and Laurene (Lawrence) Gebczyk.  He married JoAnn Craig on November 3, 1984, in Centralia, Illinois and she survives him in Centralia, Illinois.

In addition to his loving wife of 36 years, Mr. Gebczyk is survived by his children, John Felty of Centralia, Illinois, James Felty and wife Shelley of Centralia, Illinois, Sherry Felty of Sandoval, Illinois, Angie Lazare of Durango, Colorado and Kelly Miller and husband Lee of Warrens, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gail Dvorak of Tomah, Wisconsin and Jackie Sullivan of Marengo, Illinois; sister-in-law, Kathryn Gebczyk of Tomah, Wisconsin; 4 nephews and 1 niece.

Mr. Gebczyk was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore A. Gebczyk, Sr. and Laurene Gebczyk; brother, Kevin Gebczyk and sister, Sandi Bell.

Mr. Gebczyk was truly a man of the outdoors, as he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, hiking and bike riding.  He liked to sit down and read a good western book or watch an old western show.  He was a collector of belt buckles and knives.  Mr. Gebczyk cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.  He loved vacationing and traveling with his family.

Mr. Gebczyk was a delivery representative for Lowe's Home Improvement in Mount Vernon, Illinois, for seven years.  He previously was a production line worker for Rockwell International/Cambridge Industries in Centralia, Illinois, for twenty-nine years and a supervisor for Toro Company in Tomah, Wisconsin.  He has lived in Centralia, Illinois, for thirty-seven years and formerly lived in Tomah, Wisconsin.

As per Mr. Gebczyk's wishes and the wishes of his family, he will be cremated.  There will be no public visitation nor services.  Inurnment will be held in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Central City, Illinois, at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Gebczyk's honor to American Heart Association and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.  Please view the online obituary, send condolences, or share memories with Mr. Gebczyk's family at www.moranfuneralhome.net or on Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home's Facebook page
