Bud Baker Obituary

Virgil O. “Bud” Baker, 82, of Centralia passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 29, 1942, the son of Virgil and Ella Baker of Irvington.  In 1964, he married the love of his life, Deanna Elliot and she preceded him in death in June of 1978.

Survivors include his daughter; his grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife, Deanna Baker, Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.

Mr. Baker enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963 serving in Vietnam. Bud was a skilled, self-employed carpenter by trade who was proud to have built his own home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Sandoval with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi officiating; military rites to be performed by the Centralia VFW Post 2055 and American Legion Post 446.
