Charles “Chuck” McDaniel, 72, of Centralia passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born on June 10, 1953, in Centralia, the son Mary Louise (Sisson) Robbins.
Survivors that will remember Chuck’s generous heart for his family include his siblings, Donna Wesling and Don Berry of Centralia, Gary McDaniel of Centralia, Steve McDaniel and wife Vickie of Centralia, and Susie Smith of Centralia; sisters-in-law, Myrt McDaniel of Dix, and Debbie McDaniel of Mount Vernon; special cousin, Mike Hutton and wife Krystal and their daughters, Alyson and Reanna; special friends, Nancy and Steve of Centralia, and his buddy Cowboy of Sandoval; and many beloved nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Robbins; brothers, Bob McDaniel, Mike McDaniel; brothers-in-law, Norman Wesling and Gene Smith; nephews, Rodney Wesling, and Clinton McDaniel.
Chuck was a Mason and a member of the Centralia Masonic Lodge #201. He was a solid rock for his family and friends, generously helping in time of need and celebrating all their victorious accomplishments. Chuck will be remembered, especially by his nieces, as the uncle who always had their back.
A celebration of life service will be held by the family at a later date. Memorials may be made in Chuck’s honor to Helping Hands and will be accepted for his family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
