Cindy Corrie, 62, of Centralia passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her home. She was born on July 7, 1958 in Salem.

Survivors include her beloved family, daughters Ashlee Lyons (Charles Murphy) of Centralia, and Misty Corrie of Mt. Vernon; cherished grandchildren, Ryder, Payton, Kathleen, and Kenyatta; precious great-grandson, Jaxson; siblings, Larry (Joanne) Foster of Centralia, Kathy Draper of Salem, Herbert (Thelma) Foster of Salem, and Connie Wood of California; special nephew, Larry Ray Foster of Kentucky; a host of many nieces and nephews; best friends, Lana Jones, Robin Davis, Sherilyn Hays-Leal; and her faithful companion cat, Buster.

Cindy was preceded in death by the love of her life, James Heltsley; siblings, Jinny Nepsha, Ronnie Foster, and Saundra Woodward.

Cindy was a hard worker and an asset to each establishment she worked at. She served in the deli at IGA in Salem, worked at the Centralia Sentinel, and helped families with the care of their loved ones as an at home care giver. Cindy had a contagious personality and was a friend to everyone. She loved life and was a free spirit, enjoying relaxing times with medicinal practices. She was a collector of peace signs and liked to decorate with tomato motif. Cindy never met an animal she didn’t love and had fond memories of time spent with her dog, Buddy Bear and she loved her cat, Buster. Cindy was a strong-willed lady that didn’t take any sass from anyone. She was protective of anyone that was the underdog and would fight for their respect. She loved her family most of all and cherished each memory they made together. Known as Memaw Goat to her grandbabies, Cindy loved to spoil her grandchildren. Cindy will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Cindy Corrie with arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi officiating at Hillcrest Memorial Park in rural Sandoval. Memorials may be made in Cindy’s honor to the Family’s Wishes.
