Curtis graduated from Centralia Township High School and attended the University of Illinois where he studied civil engineering. Mr. Fark was a proud veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, serving his country with honor in World War II. He was co-owner of Powell and Beltz Construction Company. Curt and his wife, Peggy enjoyed helping on the farm, playing golf, and watching their grandchildren play sports from grade school through college. He and his wife also enjoyed attending many Centralia Holiday tournaments.
