Danny R. Bryant, 78, of Centralia passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Danny enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, especially to rallies, poker runs, and other motorcycle events.
Danny was a machinist by trade working at Valley Steel, Klein Armature Works, Joy Manufacturing Mining Machinery as well as Midwestern Machine and Hydraulic. Danny could fabricate whatever the job required.
Danny was born March 9, 1944, at his childhood home in Glenridge, Illinois, son of Joe Bryant and Lydian (Jordan) Bryant. He married Wanda Eller, and they had two children, Daniel Howard “D.H.” and Denise.
In addition to Wanda, he is survived by his son D.H. Bryant and wife Julie; daughter Denise Bryant; 3 grandsons Travis, Noah, and Evan; as well as his sister Jody; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers Jack, Melvin, Raymond Joe, Sam, and Jerry; three sisters Dorothy, Ruth, and Vera; two infant sisters Barbara and Betta.
A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor John Klockenga officiating. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home, where the family asks that you dress comfortable and casual. Memorials may be made in Danny’s honor to American Heart Foundation and Stroke Foundation.
