Delmar Unsell Jr.

Delmar Lee Unsell Jr., 57, of Centralia passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 24, 1967, the son of Delmar Sr. and Shirley (Hayes) Unsell in Centralia.

Survivors include his siblings, Johnny Unsell, Becky (Unsell) Wilson, and Liz (Unsell) Wimberly; nieces and nephews, Cody Wilson, Allee Wilson, Kaylee Wilson, Tiffany Unsell, Dillon Unsell, and Austin Unsell; 3 great-nephews, and expecting a great-niece in June; and special friend Sham Rapp.

Delmar was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar Sr. and Shirley Unsell.

Delmar was a former worker and a loyal employee of Swan in Centralia. He enjoyed traveling with the carnival he worked for, meeting and making friends from all over. Delmar was self-described as a “jack of all trades and a master of none”. Delmar enjoyed years of volunteering at Helping Hand Food Distribution, he shared his generous, compassionate heart and would lend a hand to anyone in need. He appreciated the beauty of the outdoors and time spent fishing. Delmar grew up in the Baptist faith, where he was introduced to a relationship with Jesus. He later belonged to Gospel Lighthouse Church and was quick to share his testimony of how Jesus’ sacrifice saved him and changed his life, giving him the hope of an eternity in his Lord and Savior’s presence. Delmar loved his family fiercely and will be dearly remembered as a beloved brother, uncle and friend.

A celebration of life service will be held by the family at a later date. Memorials may be made in Delmar’s honor to Irvin Macz Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
