Eddie Charles Miller

Eddie Charles Miller, 75, of Odin passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Odin Health Center in Odin, IL. He was born on November 28, 1948, the son of Delbert C. and Wanda (Jones) Miller in Iuka, IL. He married Doris Wilson in Salem, and she survives him in De Soto, MO.

Along with his wife of 30 years, Doris Miller, survivors include his son, Travis Miller (Jenna Preston) of Cape Coral, FL; step-daughters, Sue Clinton (Pokey) of De Soto, MO, and Michelle Barnes of Maryville, IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, David Khoury of Imperial, MO, and Myles Khoury of IL; sister, Loretta of Salem; many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Delbert C. Miller; his mother, Wanda Khoury; his brother, Steven Khoury; and his son, Danny Miller.

Eddie had a contagious smile and a true zest for life. He liked to travel winding roads enjoying the beauty of the great outdoors while riding his motorcycle. Eddie was skilled at shooting pool and liked to share a cold one with family and friends. Eddie was an avid outdoorsman, looking forward to time spent hunting and fishing. He was the life of the party at every fish fry and barbecue he attended. Eddie was a friend to all, knew the importance of making the most of each day, and loved his family fiercely. He will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Eddie’s honor to the Family’s Wishes and will be accepted for the family at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
