Edna K. Hodge

Edna K. Hodge, 86, of Centralia passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. She was born on January 10, 1935 the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Corson) Mays in Vernon. She married Troy Hodge on July 5, 1966 and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1992.

Survivors include her beloved family, 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a sister-in-law.

Along with her husband of 56 years, Troy Hodge, Edna was preceded in death by both her parents, Walter and Gertrude Mays; twin sons, Stephen and Stewart Stumbaugh.

Edna was a loyal employee of Warren G. Murray Center until her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed visiting many beautiful destinations from coast to coast throughout the United States, with Tennessee and Florida being her favorite places to spend time relaxing. Edna had many great memories of going to the beach in Florida and collecting seashells. She also loved to spend time appreciating the outdoors while tent camping, and bass fishing. Edna liked to go to flea markets and search for hidden treasures that she loved to display in her home. She had a special fur baby named Taco, her beloved dog who showed Edna much love. Edna will be remembered as a lady that worked hard to provide for her family, and she will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
