Gage Rollinson Obituary

Gage Ian Rollinson, 19, of Sandoval passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. He was born on February 14, 2003, in Breese.

Survivors that will remember Gage’s love for his family and friends include his parents Ashley and Ricky Niepoetter of Sandoval; grandparents Kim and Tim Starr of Sandoval, Donna and Rick Niepoetter of Sandoval, and Misty and Mark Rollinson of Centralia; great-grandfather Bert Rollinson of Centralia; great-grandmother Maureen Knabe of Walnut Hill; siblings Rheagan, Trinity, Raider, and Arah; girlfriend Angel Reynolds; special friends Kaleb, Caden, Jerry, Reid, and Gordo; and a host of many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gage was preceded in death by his great-grandma Marlene “Cookie” Rollinson; great-grandparents Billie and Mary Curtner; uncles Bobby Curtner, and Matt Berry; and brother Adler Waterbury.

Gage was a proud Sandoval High School graduate, Class of 2021. He was a reliable, loyal employee of Lander's Towing and Collision Center in Salem where he loved the friendships he made with his co-workers. He was especially grateful and excited to go to work with his Uncle Patrick who he always looked up to. Gage liked to listen to his music loud and although he liked all types of music, he was especially fond of 70's Rock. He was a natural athlete who brought his all to the court while playing Blackhawk Nation Basketball. He had a love for the game of baseball which he passed down to his younger brother, Adler, making sure to share all his best secrets of the game with him. Gage and his girlfriend, Angel were inseparable, sharing so much laughter and love together. He was the best friend, easy to talk to, and always there when his friends needed him. Gage was an exceptional young man who knew the important things in life were not things but the people in his life, his family and friends. Although he is no longer physically here, his spirit will live on in all the best parts of the people he knew and loved.
