Georgia Jones-Richardson
I was born on July 14, 1945 to Rozel and Connie Winbush, in Hickman KY.
I spent some of my life in Kentucky when times were not great. I was so glad my parents decided to move up north. I spent most of life in Illinois doing a variety of things. Here are some of my accomplishments. I went to Lincoln Elementary School, I then went on to graduate from Centralia High School. I got married and started a family and I had three daughters. I enrolled into the LPN Nursing Program at Kaskaskia College in Centralia IL. I went back to KC after becoming an LPN and received my RN License. I returned to college working towards my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I didn’t get to achieve that goal. However, I have accomplished many other achievements in life. Such as being a candy striper at St. Mary’s Hospital. I gave the hospital 40 years of employment before I retired as an RN in the OB department. I met some wonderful people while working there. I loved playing me some bid whiz and Pokeno with my family. I have the pleasure of having some grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I hope all that I encountered know that I loved them to the fullest and all will be sincerely missed.
I leave behind my daughter Brook Meeks, my granddaughters Pearlishanina Meeks (Sean), Connie Shackleford and my grandson Jelani McClain Jr. (Paola). My great grandchildren Takaiya Meeks, Kailon Strayhorn, Syrenity Shackleford, Honesty Shackleford, Sean Lockhart Jr., Amira Lockhart and my bonus grandson Anthony Woods and my bonus son Cotrell Richardson Jr. to mourn my passing.
I have a few loved ones that have proceeded me. I really wish I had time to tell you more but I’m tired now. I going to sleep now when I wake up I will be looking for you, So please take this time to repent, read your bible and get know Jehovah so that you can have everlasting on a paradise here on earth.
