Jennifer Coffey

Jennifer Beth Coffey, 63, of Centralia passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born on January 13, 1962, in Fairfield, CA, the daughter of Norman and Glenna(Morris) Strotheide who proceeded her in death. She was married to Terry Wayne Coffey who also preceded her in death.

Jennifer is survived by her daughters, Amanda Coffey of Chattanooga, TN, and Kellie Isaacson of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jonny Isaacson, and Leland Isaacson; sisters, Vicki Vaughn of Centralia, Barbara Rappapport of TN, and Caryn Stinson of GA; brother, Eric Strotheide of TN; nine nieces; and nine nephews.

Jennifer graduated with honors from Chattanooga State Technical Community College where she earned her RN degree. She spent her professional years as a nurse for Blue Cross Blue Shield helping those in need. 

Creativity and generosity defined her personality. Jennifer loved to design, craft, and create. Among her many passions, crochet and art shined the most brightly as she was always showering her loved ones with beautiful and unique handmade gifts. If she wasn’t looking up dreaming of the cosmos she was looking down in pursuit of earthly beauty. Jennifer spent her later years living and adventuring with her sister Vicki where their sisterhood rekindled and grew to be as beautiful as the geodes they hunted together. She was a mentor to many, most notably her best friend Mehak Sohail with whom she had a bond that stretched across to the other side of the globe. Jennifer truly spent her time here on earth in service of others. The memories of her will live on within everyone she affected; as will her hopes, passions, and dreams.
